Strategic Planning

On November 8th, 2021 the NH Information Technology Council ratified the most recent Statewide Strategic Information Technology Plan, which is provided via the link(s) below.

New Hampshire Information Technology Plan

The New Hampshire Information Technology Plan outlines the high-level mission, vision, themes and objectives that will drive technology within New Hampshire state government over the next several years. Strategic planning is a necessity of any organization because it defines where you are now, where you wish to be and what fundamental efforts need to be taken to bridge gaps and ensure success. The 2021 - 2025 State of New Hampshire strategic plan focuses on strategic partnerships, modern digital transformation, strengthening cybersecurity posture and awareness, improving system performance and the promotion of effective resource management.

Success in these critical areas will rely heavily on state agencies working together to continue to "align the enterprise" as we have successfully done in the past, but also to embrace and strengthen our future focus on “enabling citizen services through digital transformation”.

New Hampshire state government is composed of multiple agencies with distinct missions. Each agency takes great pride in serving the citizens, and businesses of this great state and understands the role that technology plays in helping them to create and maintain efficient and innovative services. It is with distinct pleasure that this plan is put forth as a "living" document that will be used to assist in these efforts. To quote John F. Kennedy – “Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future.” Regardless of the challenges that lie ahead, we are committed to working together to ensure our future success in supporting citizen needs.
